My Sketch

This is my first sketch on a tablet pc. I used a photograph of Ladakh that I saw in a magazine as my inspiration. I know I am not very good at sketching, but sketching makes me happy. Your comments are welcome so that I can improve. Arvindh (my sketching guru), looking forward especially for your comments.

I don't believe that this is your first sketching.

But if it is, then you don't have to turn back.

It is beautiful!!

The sketch is just superb! I especially like the way you have shown the snow and the shadows of the trees.
The interesting thing I notice is that this sketch does look like the ones you did on paper! HOw did you master the medium like this (BTW, I havent tried tablet PC)?
I think that you should post your sketch with the horse, man and tree.
Please continue to post your drawings in this blog.

@Jo - Thanks. Its a software called Alias Sketchbook. Real cool.

@Arvindh - Thanks a ton. U know that whatever little sketching I do is b'cos of u. :) LOL...I have not mastered the medium...just started working on it y'day. But the software is cool, its just like working with pencil and paper with the added advantage that I can undo what I don't like. I'll try to post the sketch u suggested and others.

@Prateek - Thanks. Hope to see ur sketches soon.

The first sketch looks good, try it out on paper instead of PC - not any PC drawling tool has the flexibility of drawing with a pencil on a paper. Also you will get the full credit too :-)
