Wow!

are u in bangalore? Ithought u were in delhi.. I used to be in bangalore till last year, b4the company deported me to here ;)

Dont worry about the spellings.. every one has first times hickups with new stuff. you dont have to have strong malayalam base anyway. see Ranjith making an earnest attempt on malayalam writing.

Dont worry, u can do it.. :-)

Thanks for dropping by,
Sasneham :-)

thanks shaniya for mentioning. Suji got the right answer to the song quiz on the blog so congratulations Suji. Yeah and like Shaniyan said without knowing any malayalam or living in Kerala or India for that matter I'm making a big fool out of myself on the malayalanet and the malayali bloggers community have been extremely supportive. Even though they all write things that I can only understand 70% of (and in some cases 10% - just their nicknames :)) they've helped a lot by commenting and correcting even though I don't comment that much.

Onaashamsakall by the way.

Pretty good pookkalam! Onam and other such festive occasions bring you the real feeling of something missing and the longing for being at home, right? When you are away, that is. At home, it is as usual!

God job with the pookalam Suji.. Although I must contradict ur opinion tht the pookalam beats the onasadhya in any way!! mmmm.. the ada pradhaman ends the drought in my mouth.. Wish my Onam was half as good as urs this year.

thanks for visiting suji... i lived in delhi for a while, in saket, went to mother's school, opposite IIT gate. i haven't been in some years, heard that it's changed a lot (delhi i mean, haven't heard anything about the school).

How very beautiful. Doesn't this whole blogging thing give us a great insight into other cultures!? Fantastic, thanks.

Awesome! I was there from 1984-86 and then again from 1989-90. When did you teach there? I was in class VI when I left in 1990, as far as I can remember :) Is Mrs. Bhatnagar still there? She used to teach IIIrd standard when I was there. I would probably remember the teachers if I saw them but I can't remember any other names from then.

Thanx Anon. Happy Onam to you. I don't plan my designs before hand, I just make them spontaneously depending of the variety of flowers available. I came to know abt this site for online pookalam competition a couple of days ago, and have already sent in two entries. :)
