Before I built a wall I'd ask to know
What I was walling in or walling out,
And to whom I was like to give offence.
Something there is that doesn't love a wall,
That wants it down!

-from "Mending Wall" by Robert Frost

I like the angle in this photograph too. I agree with the sentiments echoed by Frost - great quote!

I personally dont like walls, feel suffocated and no freedom. There should only be doors to open or close.I like Frost also.

Thank you all. There is another quote about walls which I really like and which I think is quite true sometimes.

“Sometimes you put walls up not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to break them down.”

Times have changed

Then, walls were built around the mansions to keep away enemies
Now, we have built them around us maybe an enemy within us.

You made me wonder Suji, did the enemy come first or the Walls??

good post ... makes one think!
